Frequently Asked Questions

Open Settings → scroll to the Pro section → tap Restore Purchase. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used to purchase.
In Gitox, go to Settings → SSH Identities → tap your key → copy the public key. Then go to GitHub → Settings → SSH and GPG keys → New SSH key, and paste it there.
Make sure your account is connected in Settings → Accounts and that the credential (SSH key or OAuth token) matches the repository's remote URL. If using SSH, verify the public key is added to your Git hosting account.
Hunk staging lets you select individual lines or sections (hunks) within a changed file to include in a commit, instead of staging the entire file. This is a Pro feature.
Agent is a Pro feature. After upgrading, open any repository and tap the Agent tab. You'll be prompted to enter your AI provider credentials on the first use. The selected credential is stored securely in the iOS Keychain and never sent to us.
When you use the AI assistant, Gitox may send repository metadata generated by the app, file contents you attach or choose for context, and your prompts/messages. Requests go directly to the AI endpoint you configured, and nothing is sent in the background.
All credentials — SSH keys, OAuth tokens, API keys — are stored exclusively in the iOS Keychain on your device. Gitox has no servers and never transmits your credentials to us. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Refund requests for the Pro upgrade are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and select the Gitox purchase.
