Terms of Service

By downloading or using Gitox ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms apply alongside Apple's Standard EULA, which also governs apps distributed through the App Store.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Gitox on Apple devices you own or control, for personal or professional use.

You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the App
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Rent, lease, or sublicense the App to others

You are solely responsible for:

• The repositories and code you access, clone, edit, or push through the App
• Complying with the terms of service of any Git hosting provider you connect to
• Ensuring you have the legal right to access and modify any repository you use
• Maintaining secure backups — Git operations can permanently alter or delete data
• Keeping your API keys, SSH keys, and credentials secure

You agree not to use Gitox to access unauthorized repositories, distribute malware, or violate applicable law.

Gitox Pro is a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase processed by Apple. It unlocks the features listed above permanently, with no recurring subscription.

• Restore purchases: use the "Restore Purchase" button in the app if you reinstall or switch devices
• Refunds: handled by Apple per their policies — we do not process refunds directly
• No expiration: Pro status does not expire and is not tied to a subscription

The Agent is a Pro feature. To use it, you must provide your own AI provider credentials. Depending on the configured auth type, Gitox will use either your API key or your GitHub account for Copilot. You are responsible for complying with that provider's terms of service and any costs their API incurs.

We make no warranties about the accuracy or fitness of AI-generated output. Do not rely solely on AI suggestions for production code without review.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind — express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Git operations can permanently alter or delete data. We strongly recommend maintaining independent backups of all repositories.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App — including loss of data, revenue, or business interruption.

We may suspend or terminate your license at any time if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases. All data stored on your device remains yours.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without regard to conflict of law principles.
